CH. KAMGAARD KAMEO APPEARANCE

"Kami" is one dynamite package! From the time she walked into her first ring, she has chalked up impressive wins under breeder-judges who all sing her praises. She combines that unique ability to appeal to breeders and all rounders alike with her correct and sound body and winning attitude. Her Championship was won with 4 majors, Best in Sweepstakes at the Norwegian Elkhound Club of the Potomac Valley under breeder Tina Gonsalves ("Bona") and she was Best of Winners for a big 5 point major to finish the week-end of the National Futurity at the Columbine Norwegian Elkhound Club Specialty under master breeder Pat Trotter ("Vin-Melca"). Following that, her next appearance saw her win Utstilling BEST IN SHOW at the Norwegian Elkhound Club of the Potomac Valley under Dutch judge Rony Doedijns ("Saimaan") with a most wonderful critique. Kami later traveled north and was proclaimed Specialty BEST IN SHOW at the Norwegian Elkhound Club of Canada's National Specialty under English breeder-judge, Mrs. Vi Nichols ("Barlestone") and subsequently finished her Canadian title. Following that, she finished her Bermudian title with SIX Group 1's and whelped a beautiful litter by SBIS American/Canadian/Bermudian Ch. Kamgaard Kommander In Chief for owners Linda Syner and Pam Johnson.  Two of these individuals have finished their American Championships with specialty wins and more are on the way.

Even with four month old babies on the ground and a little short of coat, "Kami" was Best of Opposite Sex to Best of Breed at the Canadian National Specialty in July of 2007 under Norwegian hunter/breeder/judge Ralf Campbell ("Tallo") who commented what a beautiful package she was, having the correct size, coupling and outline.  Congratulations to "Kami" and  handler Pam!!!
