CH. KAMGAARD KAPRI AT GRAAFIN

"Bunny" was bred by Kamgaard and is co-owned with Ginger Leeuwenburg who has been her primary handler throughout most of her career. Winning a major at her very first show from the Puppy Class, she took off and has never looked back! She has the same classic outline as her sire and dam, wrapped in a lush coat of silver and has been the favorite of many. She has had Awards of Merit at both the 2002 NEAA National (Norway's Ola Holsing of "Tortasen") as well as the 2004 NEAA National (Norway's Marianne Holmli of "Pei Fang"). The pinnacle of her career came at the 2003 Canadian National Specialty when Norwegian breeder-hunter-judge Rolf Frostad ("Trollelgen") selected "Bunny" as his Winners Bitch, Best of Winners, and BEST OF BREED!!!! from the Open Bitch class as well as UTSTILLING BEST IN SHOW the following day!!! She was also SPECIALTY BEST IN SHOW at the Norwegian Elkhound Club of the Potomac Valley show under Mr. Jack Simm.

Her first litter by SBIS American/Canadian/Bermudian Ch. Kamgaard Kommander In Chief has resulted in American/Canadian Ch. Graafin Klearly A Ms Chief Makr ("Twinkle") who is both an American Specialty winner from the Puppy class, a Puppy Hound Group winner in Canada and completed her Canadian title over the Canadian National Specialty week-end '07 in 3 days with THREE! big 5 point wins from the Bred By Exhibitor class.  Her second litter by American/Canadian Ch. Kamgaard Kover Your Tracks has produced three lovely male puppies who are doing very well in the Puppy classes!
