From a litter of six typey and very uniform individuals, “Rosie” is one of two twin sisters (other Kiamesha) from the highly linebred Kodiak x Kekekabic litter which were named for local landmarks.  

Starting her career out with a Best in Sweepstakes and Winners Bitch at the Norwegian Elkhound Club of the Potomac Valley specialty show from the Puppy class, she has been shown lightly but nonetheless managed to win three majors all from the Bred By Exhibitor class on the way to her championship.  A particularly nice win along the way was Winners Bitch, Best of Winners and Best of Opposite Sex from the Bred By Exhibitor class at the 2014 Garden State Norwegian Elkhound Club specialty for a 5 point major!
