Back-to-back majors her first week-end out in the Puppy class was perhaps a sign of things to come for this youngster! "Holle" has been one of our brightest stars, going from one strength to the next for her owner/handler Sherry Falk. She finished her title quickly in the states and has had a number of great Breed wins along with a Specialty Best in Show at the Norwegian Elkhound Association of Minnesota under master breeder Lana Hall ("Rikkana"). In Canada, "Holle" finished her Championship in 72 hours over the Canadian National week-end in 2005 in strong competition with a Best of Breed from the classes as well! Shortly after "Holle" flew to Bermuda and returned a Bermudian Champion with TWO All-Breed BEST IN SHOWS!!, 3 GR1's and 3 Group placements out of the 6 shows.

Pursuing a performance career, "Holle" quickly earned her Rally Novice title and has recently completed her Companion Dog title in three trials, finishing at the Norwegian Elkhound Association of America's National Specialty in Minnesota. 

At the 2010 National Specialty of the Norwegian Elkhound Association of America, "Holle" made her Veteran debut by winning Best Veteran Bitch in Sweepstakes under Cathy Chase ("ElgChase") and her regular Veteran class under Mr. Bjorge Christiansen of Norway.   Many Specialty Veteran wins followed, a cherished one being Best in Utstilling at the combined specialties of the Norwegian Elkhound Club of the Potomac Valley and Garden State Norwegian Elkhound Clubs under US master breeder, Karen Elvin ("Sangrud").  Her last big triumph came at the Norwegian Elkhound Club of America's National Specialty in 2014 where at almost 12 years of age she won an Award of Merit under Norwegian judge Mr. Kjell Oybakken.
